Integration test A2

The written language test lasts 125 minutes (excluding a 15-minute break) and consists of the reading, listening and writing subtests, including values and orientation knowledge. This is followed by the oral exam, which lasts 10 minutes per candidate.

I need to be able to do this for the A2 integration test:

Reading comprehension (40 min)
I can understand a simple, personal letter in which someone writes to me about everyday things or asks me about them.
I can understand simple instructions for using equipment (e.g. for the public telephone).
I can understand short stories about everyday things if the text is written in simple language.

Listening comprehension (12 min)
I can understand what people say to me slowly and clearly in simple everyday conversations.
I can extract the main information from short, slowly and clearly spoken audio recordings about everyday things.
I can understand the main information from television reports about events, accidents etc. if the commentary is supported by pictures.

Writing (25 min)
I can write a short, simple note or message.
I can write a short letter and use simple formulas for salutations, greetings, thanks and requests.
I can write simple sentences and combine them with words such as “and”, “but”, “because”, “then”.

Speaking (10 min)
After a monologue task (speaking about oneself), a short conversation is held on an everyday topic, which is assessed using set criteria.

Values and orientation knowledge (40 min)
The exam questions on values and orientation knowledge are based on the learning objectives in the A1 framework curriculum of the ÖIF and belong to central topics of daily coexistence such as education and language, work and economy, health, housing and neighborhood as well as principles and diversity of coexistence related to legal and cultural integration.
